The Beginning

Before I get started, here's an explanation of what's occuring here:

"One cold November day in the northern extremities of England, a 25 year old Volunteer Co-ordinator heard that the Prime Minister was so concerned about the happiness of the nation that he wanted to find out just how happy everyone was.

This warmed the heart of the Volunteer Co-ordinator  as she was throughly disillusioned with the coalition government. All too often over the previous months she had seen friends made redundant, important services cut, and an increasing assumption of local Conservative MPs that because they were doing ok at the moment, the rest of the country must be too. These were the dark days, where the Volunteer Co-ordinator found herself yelling at programmes on Radio 4 and curling up into the foetal position at night at the thought of what might happen to things like employability schemes, community allotments and youth volunteering.

But then...

But then this wonderful announcement was made and the Volunteer Co-ordinator knew it would all be ok.

"This is our chance!!" she cried out to no one in particular on the bus. "That lovely Prime Minister actually cares about us! He wants to know that we're happy! And if we're not happy then maybe he'll change the things that we're not happy about!".

For the Volunteer Co-ordinator, the Happiness Index could not come quickly enough. To save precious time and money, the Volunteer Co-ordinator  decided that she would email the Prime Minister regularly to let him know how happy she was in the hope that his worried mind might be put at ease.

The End."

Well, technically, that's not the end. Its actually the beginning. But that's the story so far. I will be posting my emails to David Cameron on here so I hope you enjoy.
